The total number of kilometres is an estimation based on the average between the start of the Bike Bus and the last “bus stop”.

If such a distance would have been covered by car instead, it would have resulted in 0.63 metric tons of CO2e (calculation from carbonfootprint.com)

Not only are these kids having fun while riding to school: they also reduce traffic congestion and cut down CO2 emissions around the school!
